The MIFSP, pronounced MYFSP,
Empowers Financial Services Consumers, Practitioners, and Regulators to Recognize Standards of Practice in Personal Financial Planning Through Original Research, Education and Consultation.

Financial Services Professionals

MIFSP enables Financial Services Professionals to be respectful of consumers, regulators and other professionals by being among other things:

  • Informed - Intune
  • Rational - Resourceful
  • Accountable & Available

While providing them access to original research and scientifically based financial planning tools and services.

Individual Consumers

MYFSP provides tools and services that promotes informed choices, distinguishing between desirable and undesirable risks and returns, and a consumer's right to employ either an individual or entity who is legally committed to working in their best interest as a Fiduciary Mortgage Advisor versus a Pretentious Pretenders or salesperson:

  1. Informed         v.    Ignorant
  2. Rational          v.    Reluctant
  3. Accountable    v.    Arrogant
Regulators

MIFSP teaches State and Federal authorities how to:

  • spot,
  • stop,
  • prevent, and even
  • pursue

state and federally chartered banks and other entities that perpetrate and/or perpetuate deceptive, unfair and predatory mortgage and other financial practices upon the public.

Educators
  • Personal Financial Planning (PFP) education in the U.S.A. is generally elective
  • The first College to offer a program of study in PFP was founded in 1973
  • As of April 2010 more than 210 regionally accredited colleges & universities offer either a certificate, bachelor's or master's degrees in PFP
  • Only two universities have ever offered a PhD in PFP
  • Not one college or university in the U.S.A offers a scientifically based course in PFP

MIFSP offers a scientifically based PFP course that bridges the gap between two proprietary PFP theories, everyday PFP practices, and the experience of millions of ordinary Americans

Associates & Affiliates

MIFSP enables educators, practitioners, consumers, financial services firms and others to get what they pay for when it comes to financial services and specifically personal financial planning fraud risk assessment, avoidance, education and managment.

MIFSP teaches all of the above and how and why they should recognize, utilize and benefit from all available facts, information and knowledge, rather than ignore it.
